ClutchPlay started the same way a lot of rivalries do, playing with friends, arguing over who’s actually better, week in, week out. We were competitive, but certainly not at a professional level. Like most players, we weren’t good enough to compete in large-scale tournaments, but we still cared about winning, improving, and testing ourselves against others.
 

Since the first game was switched on, competition followed. Not because anyone designed it that way, but because that's just what players do. We keep score. We want to win. We come back after a loss. That instinct has been there from the very beginning, and it has never gone away.

Unfortunately, what we found was that there was never a real way to do that. Casual play had no real stakes, and organised competitions were built for a small percentage of top players. The experience was fragmented across different online titles, systems, and communities, with no consistent way to bring it all together.

So we built ClutchPlay to solve that. For the person who wasn't the best in the room, but was willing to put it to the test if you ever asked.
 

It was designed to be simple and consistent. You choose a game, set or join a challenge, play the match, and the result determines the outcome. If you believe you’re better, you can prove it under the same conditions as your opponent. If you win, it’s earned. If you lose, you pick yourself back up.

We at ClutchPlay believe gaming is so much more than entertainment. It is a force for achievement. That is why we built a fair, skill-based environment where players can compete directly and measure themselves through actual performance.
